Winter News 2009

as well. Events to note this month: Studio closed Feb 21 (St.Catherine's crop), Studio only open 1 to
4 pm on Friday, February 27Th (Danica and Kieran's Birthday)


Mark your calendar for May 23, 2009. My Spring scrapbooking crop will be
happening that day at the Winchester arena. 5 people have already
registered and paid. The first 15 paid get some great goodie bags. Max 40
people for the crop so register soon of you want to attend. Join us for pot
luck, a scrapbookers garage sale ($5.00 a table), classes, challenges,
prizes and more!!

The lucky winner for the January draw was Diana Saunders. Don't forget
to fill out a draw each time you make a purchase or take a class.


The Fall contest winner was Melanie Hill, she won a $20.00 gift certificate.
Don't forget the winter contest pages are due February 28Th.


Please don't forget to get your 2009 membership. For only $30.00 you can
use my studio any time during open hours  and all my tools, stamps, die
cutters etc for the year. You also get specials, reduced fees for crops,
double stamps on your frequent shopper card the last Saturday of every
month and more.


A ton of new products are in the studio and you have to come see what
the Design Team has done with them, amazing!!! New products from
Sassafras lass ( 4 new lines), Love Letters line ( MY Little Yellow Bicycle),
Imaginisce ( Twitterpated line), new Glimmer mist and Stickles colours and
tons more!! Some requests have been restocked, Fancy Pants Daily Grind
and chip boards, more Fiskars squeeze punches, October Afternoon
stamps, Hannah Montana paper, and more Cuttle bug and Cuttle kids

Winter news highlights below
February is a great time to renew your membership for my studio. For only $30.00 you can
work      anytime during open hours using all my tools, stamps, paints , inks, die cutting
machines and more. Members get special offers and sales ,reduced cost for crops, several
members only events throughout the year, free use of my lending library of books and
magazines,  and more!! The membership is valid for the entire 2009 year and a great value.

I’m pleased to announce my new Design Team members for the 2008-2009 season. Please
welcome Pattie Clarke and Jill Sarginson from Ottawa and Amy Morris of Winchester to my
Design Team.  There are already many amazing projects from these and the other design
team members in the studio. These talented ladies will be a great source of inspiration for
all of us this year. The design Team for this year also includes Michelle Sturgeon, Carmen
Musgrave and Christine Vanden Broek. The design team recently completed a product
challenge with the Ambrosia line from Basic Grey. Come visit my studio to see what they
created with one of the kits and chip board embellishments!!

Congratulations to Isabelle Dagenais of Marionville who won the Summer contest kit
challenge. She won a $20.00 gift certificate. Stop by to see the Fall pages and pick up your
Winter contest kit for only $10.00.

New products are here and there are tons of them. New products from Basic Grey, Fancy
Pants, October Afternoon, We R Memory Keepers, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders, Little Yellow
Bicycle, Cosmo Cricket, and a ton more!! I’m carrying stamps to match some of the new
papers now as well. Some of my favourites are the Good Cheer papers and stamps from
October afternoon, and the All Fall and Daily Grind Kits and chip board from Fancy Pants. I’
m also having a lot of fun with the Glimmer Mist Screens from Tattered Angels.

Monthly draw winners for this month include Josie Vanderlaan of Winchester Springs, Tracy
Kennedy of Winchester, and Carole Lefebvre of Gatineau. Don’t forget every time you take
a class or make a purchase to enter the draw to win some great prizes.

My Fall crop was a huge success there were 35 people in attendance!!  There were prizes,
challenges and great food. Thanks to everyone for such a great day. I’ll be having another
crop this Spring!!  Congratulations to Angela Daly who won the layout challenge and to Amy
Morris who won the card   Challenge. All the pages and cards submitted were amazing!!

Join me on December 13th for a special Christmas workshop. On December 13th form 9:
30 am to 12:30pm I’ll help you make an altered canvas. You can bring your own canvas
and materials or purchase them at the studio. I’ll help you make an amazing project for only
a few dollars for that special someone on your Christmas list. Please bring some photos to
use on the canvas.

I’m still putting in pre- orders for products but orders will be going in less frequently this
year and costs will increase slightly. I continue to try and off the latest and greatest
scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies at the lowest possible costs. If you want a
product I’ll do my best to find it and order it in for you. I can also order in other crafting
products such as quilting, knitting, supplies and other crafting
materials.                                                        
Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletters and weekly email's. You will get notified of
monthly sales and promotions, classes and other events. Almost all my products are posted
on my web site and it is updated daily. You can also check my Yahoo calendar for class
registrations and dates as well as other information.

to arrive soon, as well as issue 2 of the Canadian Scrapbooker Basics publication.


Don’t forget that Gift Certificates are available for the holiday season. Also don’t forget to
fill out your Christmas or Birthday wish list so everyone will know what goodies to come buy
you!! Ask me for a wish list to fill out next time you are in the studio.

Birthday party bookings are pouring in, please try to book as far in advance as possible. I
am busy almost every Saturday afternoon with parties, great fun!! Parties are only $15.00
per child and the Birthday child is free. The price includes making free invitations!! The child
can pick the project they would like to make. Parties are available for boys , girls,  and
adults!!

Thursday, December 4th Studio only open from 1:00pm to 4:00PM(due to interviews)
Saturday, December 6th, studio closed, join me at the Winchester arena for the Parade of
lights vendor fair 9:00am to 2:30 pm
December 23, 2008-Jan 4, 2009 Studio closed for Christmas holidays.
Saturday, February 21st, 2009.  Studio closed, join me at the St. Catherine’s school crop
in Metcalfe.
From time to time I have to close the studio without much notice, check my Yahoo calendar
on the web it is always updated daily!!

Don’t miss the boxing week sale from January  7th to 14th, 30% to 40% off everything!!

My hours continue to be:  Wednesday 1pm to 4pm, Thursday & Friday 1pm to 9pm and
Saturdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm. If these hours don’t work for you give me a call and I
will open up the studio for you. I can book classes or crops for groups, you let me know the
date and time you want!!

Once again I want to thank all of you for your support this year. I couldn't do any of this
with out all of you. THANKS!! I have the best job in the world!! The best part is that so
many of you have become  friends and I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you
when you stop by the studio. From our family to yours we wish you the best over the
holiday season and Happy New Year!! Take time for your self to relax and enjoy yourself  
this holiday season, I know I sure will be trying to!!
