Summer 2011 News & Events

This summer I’ll  be spending some much needed time with my family. The kids are only
young once and the time sure flies bye.  The studio winds down quite a bit over the
summer months, but I am always happy to open up for shopping, crops, or classes, just
let me know.

I hope all of you get plenty of  opportunities to enjoy the  nice weather with your families
and friends. I plan to enjoy every minute of it, there sure are a lot of summer products
here to scrap all those  pictures.

Please note the Summer hours for the studio.
The studio will be open from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays only
for July and August.
I will open for you by appointment, just call or email me. If I’m home I’ll  gladly open up,
just for you.

I am also closed for summer holidays from July 1, to July 15, 2011.        

 If you are interested in any of the following classes: Copics techniques, Glimmer Mist
techniques, scrapbooking basics, die cutting basics ( Cuttlebug, Spellbinder, E craft, &
Cricut) or , wall hanging, mini album, card making basics. Please let me know asap as I
am planning classes for  This summer & the Fall on a  Monday or  Tuesday evening at 7:
30pm and will run any of these classes if I have 4 or more people, $25 for a 2 hour class.
I will hold any class as long as there is interest.

Once again I am looking for Design Team members.  If you haven’t had a chance, you
should come by to see all the  great work they’ve created.  Please submit Electronically
or in  person, 4 or 5, or more, of you best projects (scrapbook layouts, cards, altered
items etc.) or a link to your blog, and a short bio, plus a short paragraph about why I
should pick you for the team. The Design team gets to work with new products when
they come in. They get the items for no cost and I display them in the studio and post
them on  my web site and Face book pages.. This year I am looking for Designers who
work on a wide variety of  projects ( cards, altered art, home décor), have a blog/website
or can submit their projects electronically as well as in person. I am only looking for
designers within  Eastern Ontario. The deadline  submissions for the Design Team is
September, 30, 2011. Even if you’ve applied before I welcome your submissions.

        There are a ton of new products in the studio from : Basic Grey, Jillibean Soup,
Prima, Tattered  Angels, Bo Bunny, Best Creations, Martha Stewart, Cricut, Cuttlebug,
Imaginisce, Penny Black , Creative Imaginations, EK Success, Moxxie, Fancy Pants,
Nikki Sivils, Echo Park, Fancy Pants, Bo Bunny, and tons more. If  there is a product you
need I will try my best to order it in for you.



Don’t for get to come pick up your Summer contest kit, this kit is only $10, and  pages
are due August 31st. Congrats to Lorena Sollows who won the Winter kit contest & a gift
certificate.

        Have scrapbooking products or paper scraps you no longer need?? I donate
supplies to many organizations and groups ( schools, 4 H clubs, nursing homes and
more) I will gladly take your unwanted supplies and donate them to one of the many
organizations I support. I will take papers, stickers, tools,  older stamps, paper scraps
etc. Some supplies and tools are even kept here in the studio for all too enjoy and I take
them when I do classes with various groups in the community. Several customers have
already donated supplies and there are several groups who have been very thankful to
receive some much needed supplies. THANKS to all of you your support is greatly
appreciated.

        
Be sure to check out the die cutting 101 class in June as well as the girls night out fund
raiser. I have over 75 different classes to offer. If you want to book a class I will do a
class for 3 or more   people, adults, children, Mom/Dad and me classes, men’s night
classes, and more. You can also book my  studio for a crop, crafting party, or other
event.  Some of the classes available are: technique classes,  basic scrapbooking,
Cuttlebug classes, scrapbook in a box, accordion album, canvas wall hanging, clear
wall    hanging, CD album, mini albums, Glimmer Mist, card making, and more!!
                 
 You are welcome to come work on your projects anytime during open hours.  
Memberships are only $30.00 for the whole calendar year! The  memberships have
other benefits as well, ask me for details.         

Don’t forget to enter the monthly draw, with every purchase or class you can enter to
win a prize. Congrats to Stephanie, Kate, & Debbie who were winners last season.

I am also looking for new teachers for the studio, if you have an interesting class ideas,
let me know. I am currently looking for people to teach advanced Copic classes, altered
items, cards, mini albums, &    scrapbooking pages.

I am also looking for more opportunities to be a vendor at scrapbooking crops and
events. I am willing to come to your crop or event as a vendor. I really like doing fund
raising crops & events. II will donate a percentage of my sales back to your community
group or charity. If you would like me to do a demonstration or   presentation for your
group I am available to do that as well. Please book me well in advance for these
events. If you know of an event or crop please let me know. I will also gladly advertise
your event if it is a fundraiser for the community or charity.

 Cuttlebug, Cricut, E-Craft and Cuttlekids machines are here to try out. If you haven’t
had a chance  to try these die cutting machines, stop by for a quick lesson. See what
amazing things you can do with just your scrap pieces of paper.

Remember to bring your own bag when you shop. I also will take the following for
recycling & re-using for crafts : Pizza boxes from kits clubs, 12 x 12 cello packaging, old
CD’s& CD cases, & any bags with no advertising.

Almost all the tools and products I have for sale, are here for you to try out. If you have
a question about a product or want to try before you buy, let me know. I only carry the
products I think are of the very best  quality. I am always trying to stock the latest and
greatest companies and products. If I don’t have it let me know!!

 Face book is the place to be for all the latest products, news, classes, and design team
creations, look for the fan page, Tina’s Scrapbooking Creations. If you see something
you like in the product albums, simply comment underneath and I will save you that item.

 I thank you for your continued support and a special thanks to  those of you who
advertise for me. Many of you bring or tell friends about my studio, I really appreciate it.  
Word of mouth has grown my    business and that is thanks to all of you. There Every
week since I have opened 6 years ago there has been someone new in the studio. It
really is a pleasure to have great customers like you, I am one lucky lady. I’ll be making
some changes to my schedule in the Fall to accommodate the hockey & skating
schedules, stay tuned for more info to come.
