Summer news 2008


Please note the new Summer hours for July and August. I will be open
Wednesday and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.  There will be kids
studio time every Wednesday morning for July and August 9:00 AM to 11:45
AM ( children must be accompanied by an adult ). There will be new studio
hours coming in the Fall.

There are some new children's and adult classes for summer, please see the
attached schedule. Book early classes can fill up quickly.

Tons of new items are here and all sold out items requested are back in stock.
New items include: Basic Grey Archaic single papers as well as collection
packs and chip board, Scenic Route raw chip board shapes for only $1.49,
Doodle bug flocking assortments, new paper lines from Making Memories both
the Note worthy collections Addie and Delaney plus all the matching
embellishments, Cuttle bug embossing folders, Zak's life pack and papers, new
colours of Glimmer Mist and Stickles, We R memory Keepers Frenzy and
Hoopla lines, Maya Road, Core'dinations card stock, and & tons more, too
much more to mention!! Scallop Punches, stamping markers, and inks are re-
stocked as well as the best selling line ever, the About A Boy collection from
Fancy Pants.  

Thanks to everyone who attended my first crop, it was a huge success. The
pot luck food was amazing, the contest challenges, classes, and specials were
all a big hit.
Everyone  who attended won something and the first 15 to register received
goodie bags. Congrats to Amy Morris who won the page challenge and to
Carmen Musgrave who won the card challenge. I’m planning another crop for
the Fall ( October 4th!!). This crop will have a Fall garage sale, you can rent a
table for only $5.00 to sell your extra scrapbooking supplies (reserve early,
limited space). The first 15 to pay and register for the crop will get a free
goodie bag!!

Also a big Thanks to all those who participated in the first annual Passport To
Scrap Tour. The event was also a big success and we’ll be planning an
improved tour for new year.

The 50 cent paper bin is full of new papers and the 40% off discount bin is
back!! Also all the Christmas papers in stock are now 50% off but going fast!!

I'm still looking for Design team members and occasional class teachers.
Please submit samples of your work in person or electronically (link to Blog is
ok too), before the end of August. There is no huge commitment for either
position, I try to keep it fun and they involve doing as much or as little work as
you want to do!!


The summer contest kit is now available but selling quickly. There are only a
few left. Come by to have a look and vote for your favourite layout from the
Spring contest, the pages are all great!!!

Amy Morris won the draw for June and Angela Daly won the May draw !!
Don't   forget to fill out a ballot after every purchase or class.

Now booking  crafting Birthday parties for boys and girls.  The child may pick
the paper crafting project  they choose to do (scrapbook page, accordion
album, clip board,   journal, canvas and more).  You can even make the
invitations here for free!! Only $10.00 per child, the Birthday child is free.
Please ask me for more details.

Don’t forget we offer Video transfer services for only $15.00.  The first tape is
$15.00 but each additional tape is only $5.00 !!Those VHS tapes of weddings,
babies and other special events don’t last forever. Drop them off and we’ll
transfer them to DVD for you.

Look for the Summer issue of the Scrapbooking & Cards Today has arrived
and it's FREE. The new summer issue of The Canadian Scrapbooker has just
arrived as well.

Want to keep up to date on all the latest paper crafting trends? Need ideas? I
have a lending library available with membership, you must sign out all books
and magazines. Also    I’m making room for my never ending addiction to
scrapbooking magazines and books and have many slightly used items for sale
for only $1.00.

Need an item and can’t find it, let me know and I’ll try to get it in for you. I have
tons of catalogues you can borrow and will order most items in for you.

I will open my studio any time just give me a call or drop me an email. Most of
you know I am now off for the Summer. Classes can be booked at anytime as
well for adults,  children and groups. You pick the project and the time.
