Summer Happenings 2006

The great summer weather is finally here. Many opportunities for great  summer pictures; vacations,
weddings, sports and fun. We’re all so busy during the summer. I’ve decided not to only hold any
classes and events on the weekends   I’ll have classes on Wednesday evenings instead. So many of
you are gone on the weekends Wednesday seems to be the best way to accommodate everyone,
and still have drop ins on Thursday and Friday evenings. So for June, July and August there will be
classes on Wednesday evenings only. I will hold private bookings for     individuals or groups on
Mondays evenings. There will be no classes or drop ins from July 22 to August 7 as I will be on
holidays.

My website seems to be doing well so be sure to check it often for all the latest classes, events,
products, monthly specials, coupons and more. Be sure to check the yahoo calendar for all the dates
and information you need.

As for classes and events this season, I am trying to include everything I have to offer at least once this
summer ( scrapbooking classes, accordion album, card making, paper bag album, kids and teen
nights, and ladies night out. Watch for many new classes to start in the fall.

A few of you have already signed up for the Birthday club which started this year. Be sure to let me
know when your Birthday is so you can get a special  surprise for your special day.

Make sure you check out the anniversary layout contest information in the “what’s new” section of the
website. Be sure to vote for your favourite layout. Stay tuned to see who wins the $20.00 gift
certificate. Lots of great ideas to scrap lift. This contest was such a hit I may offer a kit for $5.00 every
season and have a   similar contest, let me know if you’d be interested.

Drop ins will continue for Thursday and Friday evenings (7:30 to 9:30PM). There is a voluntary $2.00
fee to help cover costs of using  tools, glue, punches etc. Included in the drop in fee you can borrow
any of my Scrapbooking magazines.

The Canadian Scrapbooker magazine is a big hit, I will continue to carry it the summer issue will be
here soon, reserve your copy today.

Come visit me during Winchester Dairyfest, August 12th, I will have a table the sidewalk sale.

Congratulations to Angela Daly, Susan Sloane, Melanie Young and  Carmen Musgrave for winning
prizes over the last few months.

The frequent Buyer card program will continue. There is one double stamp day offered each month.
Check the web site to find out which day is double stamp day. Don’t have a card or know about the
program be sure to ask me about it.

I continue to order the latest scrapbooking products from all the newest designers and companies. If
there is a particular item you are looking for let me know and I’ll try to find it. I try to keep my prices
lower than any other store and to stock only products I really trust and would use myself.

New companies include Crate Paper and We R Memory Keepers. Some of my new favourite
products include: Junkitz salsa paperz, vellum glue dots, the new Bazzill card stock and the new
corner punches by EK Success.

The “take a sticker leave a sticker” basket is getting lots of use and everyone seems to really enjoy it.
A few customers are leaving scraps and taking scraps. The more we have the better, one person’s
scrap is another’s treasure. Also if you have 12 x 12 patterned paper you don’t like, you can trade it
from the miscellaneous pattered paper pile as well.

The card swaps are going great. I love getting the cards made by other people. I can’t bare to give
them away and  I have been using all the great ideas. Let me know if you are interested in card swap
#3. It won’t be starting until September.

If you need to shop I am open for shopping during class hours as well.

As always I will make custom cards, mini albums or scrapbooks for you. I will hold private or group
bookings as well. Want to book my room for a crop with your friends let me know and I can host it here

Hope you all have a great summer, get out there and take tons of pictures. I’m Looking forward to
being home with my children this summer, who says the two’s are terrible!
Happy Scrapping
