Spring News 2008 Let’s hope the Spring weather gets here soon, I’ve sure had enough of the snowy weather. I also finally completed inventory and a change over to a new accounting system, what a job!! Hard to believe I’ve had my business for 3 years!! There are plenty of things going on over the next few months to celebrate my third anniversary. The big event everyone looks forward to is the 4 days ,30% off sale. There will also be an anniversary crop with prizes and more. New for 2008, Tina’s Scrapbooking Creations membership program . For just $25.00/year you can enjoy all sorts of benefits . All crops and drop in night are free for members. Members can use the new Spellbinder Wizard. This amazing machine die cuts and embosses paper, a must try and perfect use for all your scraps. Members can use this and all other tools including, stamps, paints, inks, punches and more for the year during crop time. Members will get use of the lending library, get specials throughout the year and also get special members only crop nights with double stamps on reward cards. There will also be member crops, a teen night, a children’s card class during the March break, and an accordion album class and 2 spring card making classes. Be sure to look at the attached calendar and reserve your spot. I’m very happy to announce that design team member Mellisa Ross will be teaching classes at my studio. I’ m so excited I may just try to sneak a spot for myself!! Mellisa has years of experience and I’m sure you’ll have a blast getting to know this talented and fun lady. Classes this season with be an altered Love themed clip board and a photo cube class,. Have a look at the attached calendar for more details. My 3rd Anniversary sale will be on March 26th (1 to 4 PM), Thursday and Friday March 27th & 28th ( 7:30 to 9: 30) and Saturday, March 29th (9AM to Noon). All products are 30% off!! I will be having a special Anniversary Crop on Saturday, April 19th 9 AM to 4PM at the upstairs Hall at the Winchester Arena. Fees will be $5.00 for Members and $10.00 for non-members. There will be snacks, prizes, classes and more. You must reserve your space and bring a snack to share, the crop is pot luck. The Design Team got together in January to do a 4 scrapbookers, 4 product design challenge be sure to come have a look at the stunning results. The DT is also working to create new examples with all the great new products. Interested in Joining my Design team? I’ll be looking to add more members in late summer/Fall. Please submit a brief Bio about your self, a short bit about why you’d like to be on my design team and 4 projects. All can be submitted electronically, or in person. It’s a great way to get free product and motivate you to complete projects. I need card makers and scrapbookers! Congratulations to Michelle Sturgeon from Long Sault who just joined my design team. She is an amazing card maker as well as scrapbooker. I’m sure we’ll get tons of inspiration from her designs. The Spring CHA items will be soon be here, one of my favourite parts of Spring. Draw winners for last season were: Whitney Van Breugal, Darlene Jackson, and Anne Marie Van Adrichem. The winner of the Fall contest kit layout was Tammy Armstrong, congrats Tammy!! Spring 2008 kits are available February 29th and there will be 20 special anniversary kits available for $10.00. The Spring contest pages are due May 30th enter your page for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate. There are still Free issues of the amazing Canadian magazine Scrapbooking & Cards today available but they don’t last long. Be sure to pick up your copy next time you are here. Due to increasing costs some classes will be increasing in cost, unless otherwise noted regular classes remain at $20.00 and children’s scheduled classes are $15.00 ( private bookings are $20.00). I now have Visa, Master card and interact, and am open every Wednesday 1 to 4. I am available to open the shop , book a private crop or party on most afternoons, evenings and weekends. I only work mornings at my other job so it’s no bother to open up anytime time, just please call or email. I was disappointed to hear the Scrapbook Expo would be cancelled but this event will give us all some retail therapy to look forward to!!
