Spring 2011 News & Events

I’m celebrating my 6th year in business this spring. I’ll be having my annual Anniversary sale
for 2 weeks this year, to give all of you a chance to stop by. From March 30th to April 9th ,all
products in the studio are 36% off . Thanks to all of you for your patronage, my sale is a thank
you  to all of you, for your support. I don’t often have sales so you won’t want to miss this big
sale. Members get to shop early for the sale, the sale starts for members on March 25th.

Other events this season include: a special National scrapbook day event & fund raiser for
Cancer, be sure to join me at the crop for the cure in Kanata (  Kanata Baptist Church) on
National scrapbook Day. The event is  Saturday May 7th, 9am to 9pm,you can come shop and
a portion of my sales go to this great cause, cash or cheque only.

There will be a Glimmer mist techniques class on Tuesday, April 12th all you need to know
about Glimmer mist, only $30. A must if you want to learn what this amazing spray can do &
learn to use it to it’s full potential. May 16th there will be a Copic Basics class, another great
class to learn all the basics about Copic markers, only $20. There is a free Close to My heart
class in April as well!!

Closure dates for this season: Closed  April 15th & 16th, and closed for Good Friday on April
22.

  Memberships are now available for 2011, if you haven’t yet, please renew for the year.
For only $30.00 you can use my studio anytime during open hours. Available for use are all my
tools, stamps, Cricut, E-Craft Cuttle bug, Cuttle kids, machines, stamps, paints, stencils and
tons more. You get double stamps on your   frequent buyer card the last Saturday of every
month, heads up on  special deals, free Scrapbooking & Cards Today magazine (reserved for
you), a  member sale item each month, special member crops, and more.

Be sure you become a “fan” of Tina’s Scrapbooking Creations on Face book or sign up for my
newsletter. It’s the best way to see all the new products, learn about monthly specials, and
keep up with all the events happening  in and around the studio. Congrats to Renne who won
the February Face book contest, by posting a love themed project to the Face book fan page
she won over $50 of scrapbooking products.

The Craft and Hobby association (CHA) craft trade show was held in January. New products
from this big event have started to ship. I now carry Cricut products & accessories. Already in
the studio are new products from Martha  Stewart, Penny Black, Echo Park, new Thickers from
American Crafts, new kits from 3 Bugs in a Rug & Best Creations,  your story albums and
laminating products, and tons more you’ll have to stop by to see it all!

Products pre-ordered from CHA include: Bo Bunny & Basic Grey kits, Max & Mollie from Nikki
Sivils, new Stickles colours, Pink Paislee, Jillibean Soup, Cosmo Cricket,  Imaginisce, Core
impressions, new i-rocks, New Copic sketch markers, Cricut cartridges and cartridge
organizers, and much more.
 

Interested in a Cricut, E-craft, or Cuttlebug demo/class, advanced Copic class or member crop
night. If there is enough interest I’ll be holding these events, please let me know. I will hold the
class of your choice at your convenience for 4 or more people. I also do group crops, will be a
vendor at your event, and do kids classes, & Birthday parties.

Congrats go out to Lorena Sollows who won the Fall contest and a $20.00 gift certificate.
Spring kits are now available and contest projects are due May 29th. Be sure to stop by the
studio and vote for your favourite Winter page. Spring/summer kits are now available not due
until the end of August, this kit is only $10.

Please stop by the studio to see all the amazing projects from my Design Team these ladies
continue to amaze me with all the create.  Many projects  are displayed in my studio and  most
are on my Web site or Face Book pages, and are all available for us to “scraplift”. Need help
creating one of these projects, stop by and I can show you how they did it and show you what
techniques and products they used be sure to check these out for a jump start to any project.


The new Spring issues of The Canadian Scrapbooker and Scrapbook and Cards Today will be
arriving soon. Due to increased costs I will be getting only 50 issues of the   Scrapbook &
Cards Today magazine.  Members will get the issues free and have a copy here reserved for
them. Non-members will get the issue free with purchase, on a  first come first serve basis ( I
do not save issues).


Be sure to check the website for the monthly sales and specials. Every month there is a new
sale. There is also a special sale for member’s each month as well. There is a draw for a  
scrapbooking product each month in the studio as well. Be sure to fill out a ballot each time
you make a  purchase or take a class.

Doing my part to reduce and recycle. I do no purchase plastic shopping bags (haven’t in my 6
years in business). Please collect your advertising free bags  & plastic 12 x 12 packaging and
bring them in for me to re-use, or bring your cloth/canvas grocery bags to use when you shop
here. The reusable grocery bags are a perfect fit for all the 12 x12 scrapbook items.

If you want to create a special project at home and don’t have time to take a class be sure to
ask about page kits and mini album kits. I have several kits that have instructions or starters to
help you create a great project at home. Suitable for beginners or advance crafters. I have
several  examples in the studio.

Draw winners for this season were Brielle G. from Ottawa, & Wendy H. from Chesterville. Be
sure to fill out the monthly draw each time you take a class or make a purchase.

If you would like to book a crop, class, or event  please contact me. I will do a class for 4 or
more people at your convenience. You book your own date, time and project. I have over 75  
different projects available to choose from. Some of the choices are: Clear wall hanging,
altered canvas, tons of mini album classes, scrapbook in a box, accordion album, basic or
advance  scrapbooking, card classes, Cuttlebug , techniques classes and so many more. If you
are interesting in booking a class or Birthday party please book several months in advance I
am extremely busy with bookings and events.
