January 2012 News & Events

Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2012 brings wonderful things for you
an your  family. It was great to have a break over Christmas and I am all
recharged and ready for another great year in the studio. Some changes
happening but no worries, studio is going strong, just making some
changes to make life easier and to keep my resolution of putting family
first.

 Some changes to note in the new year for the studio in an effort to
make things run more smoothly. Note I will be closed some Saturdays and
extra days in the New year, please call , check the monthly newsletter,
web site or Face book or call first. I always post closures well in advance
but do close from time to time on short notice,  especially on weekends.
Most of you are coming from over an hour away, be mindful and check or
call before you come. This does not happen often, but if something comes
up that is important I will close, but will try to give you plenty of notice.

 There will no longer be studio memberships for 2012. I will continue to
offer drop in for $3.00 a visit. You can come use all my tools, stamps,
punches and get help on your projects during any open hours. I have a
Cricut with plenty of cartridges    available for use as well, but you must
provide your own mat ( Only $13.99 for 2 you can purchase them here). I
have the E-craft, Cuttlebug, plenty of Spellbinders, and other supplies to
use. I am glad to help  between  customers.

 For pre-ordering and classes you must now place a deposit or pay in full
or I will not hold your space or place you product orders.

 I am having an huge inventory blow out sale on many products for the
new year to make room for all the new CHA goodies that are coming. 40%
off over 40 kits from Basic Grey, October Afternoon, Crate paper, Little
Yellow Bicycle, and tons more. Over 200  new papers in the 50 cent bins
as well as tons of new items In the 40% off bins many of which are
matching embellishments for the papers ( Bo Bunny,  Jillibean Soup,
Basic Grey, October Afternoon, Echo Park and tons more!!).

  New products this month include: Winter twig collection from Little Yellow
Bicycle, Winter land kits from Fancy Pants. New hockey and  racing
patterned papers, as well as new embossing folders from Darice,
Spellbinders dies, and Martha Stewart punches. Remember I carry
children’s science, art and crafting kids perfect for those last minute
birthday gifts. I am fully stocked with Smash books with are great for   
children’s  and adult Birthday parties as well.

                 Winter contest kits are here, $15.00 each. Please stop by to
vote on you   favourite Fall page, all the work this season is amazing, a
must see!! The winner gets a $20 gift certificate!!

Still a couple of Winter issues of the Canadian Scrapbooker magazine
and the Page maps 2012 calendar available. I am loving the sketches and
ideas in the Calendar, if you have done any pages please post them on
the Face book page we’d all love to see them.

 Classes will continue in the Spring or once the weather is a bit nicer, if
you have a class request or idea please let me know. I am always looking
for new ideas and teachers for classes. Also getting the new DSLR
photography sessions ready for Spring, I already have a few names
please let me know if you are interested. I am working on a mini album
class with the Winter twig collection, as well as planning to have another
Copic and     glimmer mist technique classes. I’d love to have someone
come teach a Spring card class, or Copic advanced class get those ideas
in!!

 Congrats to Wendy Hollands who won the December draw. I will
continue to have a draw for a scrapbooking item each month. Remember
to fill out a draw each time you make a purchase.

 The Design Team is in full swing, lots of new projects to post in the new
year. Check Face book often I try to post a few ideas and inspiration from
them weekly. Many projects are posted on the web site, check each
designers gallery for ideas as well as links to blogs.

 Reminder to get you Winter coupon, only available in store, 30% off, any
item, not valid for sale items.

  Remember if you want to keep up to date, send me your email address
and I will mail you the monthly newsletter. Join the Face book Fan page
and see all the new products, and design team pages before everyone
else. There are also Face book only  contests.

 Recycle, reduce, and help others. Please note you can drop off, pop
tabs, milk bags, unused coupons, bags with no advertising, as well as
unwanted crafting supplies here in the studio. The loot for Luke treat box
is still here as well, help a local family with a young boy who has cancer. I
am also available to be a vendor for your fund raising event, a percent of
my sales for your event will go back you your cause. I support so
many             organizations, donate supplies, and try to help with so many
causes. Please help me to support others, these are easy things to and if
we all do  little things it will make a big          difference.
