Tina's Scrapbooking Creations

Well summer is gone, for me it is a really difficult time of year, I turn another year older, I go back to work and
the warmer weather is gone. The good part of this time of year are all the new scrapbooking products that
come out and lots of fun things happening around my studio in the fall. So if your feeling a little down I’m
going to indulge in some “me” scrapbooking time this fall and I’m going to try some new projects ,
techniques and I’m going to indulge in a few more  scrapbooking items.

Some new classes this season to get the creative juices flowing; recipe tin, board books, CD Album, and  a
scrapbook in a tin class. The scrapbook in a tin class is comes with a kit and is $25.00 bring lots of pictures
, you’ll get your album done in one night. There will be a Christmas Card making class  this fall as well .
Thanks to everyone who turned out for the open house it was a huge success. Congratulations to all the
draw winners. It was great to see everyone having so much fun making cards and enjoying the treats.

I’ll be picking the design team during early September so if you are interested you still may have time to
submit some of your work and be involved in  getting some free supplies by designing pages and projects

There will be tons of new projects coming in the next few weeks.  As usual the new Gel-A-Tin stamps are
amazing. I’m expecting products from Fiskars,  Daisy Dee’s , We R Memory Keepers, Prima and
Imaginisce . Hot items around here lately are the Bazzill edged card stock, the Ooh la la French stickers and
rub– ons, Prima flowers, and chip board.

The Fall Contest kits are now available,  pages are due before November 30, 2007. This is my favourite kit
so far so don’t miss out.   Congratulations to Christine Van Den Brook who won the Spring Contest kit and a
Gift certificate.

The Fall issues of the Canadian Scrapbooker and Scrapbooking and Card Today will be available early
September. If you haven’t seen these amazing Canadian magazines you should definitely check them out.

Every time you take a class or make a purchase you are entered into the monthly draw. Winners this season
include: Emma Paterson, Tina Fawcett, Susan Sloane and Faye Bevels.

I will be heading to the For Keepsakes crop on Saturday, November 3rd. Let me know if you would like
information on this all day event. $30.00 includes lunch and supper.
There will be an 8 week paper crafting and scrapbooking course offered through the Township of North
Dundas on Tuesdays  in Chesterville,  September 25 to November 13th. It is in the township’s Fall
recreation flyer, registrations can be made through the township  office. I will be teaching accordion albums,
scrapbooking, cards, altered journals and clip boards and more. A great deal only a little over $15.00 per
session.
The kids classes where very popular this summer and remember you can pick the project to make and the
date. I also do children’s birthday parties and other   gatherings. Paper crafting is becoming much more
popular for boys, so don’t forget to ask the little men in your life if they’d like to join you for a class. I also
teach groups of any age, camps, do bridal and baby showers. Have a group, you pick the project and the
date you want.
