Tina's Scrapbooking Creations
Fall Happenings 2006

Where did the summer go? I’m sure we’re all asking that question a lot these days. Now that the
summer is over many of us will start to do more scrapbooking.   I’m offering plenty of new
classes for those of you who also want to go “back to school” this fall.

New classes this season include: A one time baby shadow box class (4 spots only), altered
journal, scrapbook in a box, holiday card making, and scrapbook in a tin. Be sure to sign up
early as some of these classes are offered on a limited basis. Check the web site  under
classes for more information and to see examples of all classes.

Classes will be going up to $20.00 this fall, due to all the increased costs. Classes are still a
great deal and much less expensive than in the city. Unless otherwise noted, all supplies are
included with the $20.00 class fee. Always bring your trimmers, silent setters, and other tools to
classes. The Little Buddies children classes will be $15.00.

Cropping afternoons and the Ladies Night out, late night crop will be $10.00. There will be a
limit of 6 people per session to ensure everyone has enough space. I will try to offer both these
popular events once each season. The fee will include snacks, use of all my tools, door prizes,
special sale items, and more.

Congratulations to Carmen Musgrave for her winning layout during the  anniversary contest. She
won a $20.00 gift certificate for her work. Honorable mention to Lois Riley and Tracy Barkley
who came very close to winning as well. Thanks to all of you for providing us wit all the
inspiration and greet ideas, all the layouts got at least 3 votes and were all very well done.

Due to the popularity of the anniversary contest I've decided to offer a  contest surprise kit every
season. The contest kit will be $5.00 and you won’t be able to peek until after you purchase it.
The kits will offer new techniques and the latest papers and supplies to challenge you each
season. The winner will receive a $10.00 gift certificate. The fall 2006 kits are available now and
quantities are limited. This  contest due date is November 30th, so plenty of time to start
working on your creation. The winter 2007 kits will be available to pick up  November 30th as
well. Layouts will be posted for a couple of weeks in my studio so we can all see the great
ideas. I can’t wait to see all the wonderful work from all of you on these kits. (Sold out)

Fall is also an exciting time because the scrapbooking companies are coming out with new
products and tools. So keep an eye out for all the new items and  coming in over the next few
months. I hope to get new items from Chatterbox,  Crate paper as well as KI Memories.

We are also excited to announce  help with preserving even more memories with video transfer
services. We will help you convert you old VHS tapes of vacations, children and weddings to
DVD. See the last page of this newsletter for more info.

Drop ins will continue on Thursday and Friday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. There is a
$2.00 free only if you use my tools and adhesives. You can stop by to shop, socialize, work on
your projects, see latest projects, read the latest magazines and more. Check the calendar for
drop in information and last minute class information. Note there is no drop in On Friday,
September 15th or October 20th due to the  Ladies Night out.

Classes will continue to be offered on Wednesday evenings. I will offer a few classes on
Saturday afternoons each season to accommodate those who cannot attend week day evening
classes. Monday and Tuesday evening are open to book a private class or crop, you just need 3
or more people and you can book a class or crop.

Always keep checking my web site www.tinascrapbooking.com for all the latest class and
product information. You can print a calendar of events as well as sign up for classes. If you’d
like to submit your work you can even have your own gallery of projects on the site as well.
Monthly draws will continue for the fall. For each purchase or class you are entered into the
monthly draw. Congratulations to the draw winners for national Scrapbooking day: Jackie Imrie
and Darby Ace. Other winners last season were: Marrisa Imrie, Susan Sloane, Lois Riley, Jane
Vloet and Liz Jones.

Be sure to check out the bargain bin for discounted items marked down by 30% off.  Frequent
Buyer card will continue as well. You get a stamp for each $20.00 you spend on classes or
product. When the card is full you get $20.00 to spend. I sometimes offer double stamp days, be
sure to check the yahoo calendar on the web site for dates.
Looking forward to seeing many of you at the new classes this season.
Happy scrappin’ - Tina
