Originally from southeastern Saskatchewan she grew up loving animal, riding horses, making art and doing crafts as often as she could. A hand saw, a jigsaw and old barn boards along with a can of used wood stain could keep her and her younger brother busy for several hours on a Sunday afternoon constructing some sort of shelf or box to decorate. Creativity was the name of the game. It didn't always turn out how she intended but it was fun getting there. The only difference now is that she has better tools to work with and that makes the finished products more presentable. She still loves animals, rides if she can find a horse to get on, makes pencil sketches and pastel paintings, dabbles in acrylic painting and collage work, sews, plays guitar, sings and writes music, and loves stamping, scrapbooking and creating original pieces of line art so she can have that just right bit to go along with whatever project she's working on.
