I live in Kemptville with my husband and our two little munchkins – Tyler and Katie. They are a source of inspiration to me, and I just wish I had 10 more hours a day to scrap all the moments with them. They are growing up way to quickly, and I want to remember all the little things. I started scrapbooking about 6 years ago when Tina was just thinking of starting her business. Myself and two other friends were guinea pigs for Tina’s first ever class. She introduced me to this style of scrapping, and I guess the rest is history. I really enjoy the creative side of it. I can’t say that I do it to document family history, but more for the creative outlet. I love scrapping the little moments with my family - silly things the kids do or say or the emotions a certain picture evokes when I look back at it. I also enjoy how the industry is constantly changing. There is always some new product or technique to try. It keeps me interested, excited and always eager to get scrapping.
Hi, my name is Pattie Clark and I am extremely excited to be on this am so fortunate to have discovered this art and have been able to share my passion with others through teaching scrapbooking classes. A mother to FIVE wonderful children, scrapbooking has become not only my passion, but my outlet to refresh and regroup my four remaining brain cells after a rather hectic week! I am a law clerk by profession, but after the birth of my twin boys, I decided it was not worth the burden of paying childcare! So in my infinite wisdom, I decided to start providing childcare in addition to my own! If nothing else over and above the blessing I have to be able to work at home and watch over my own children, to help other children learn...it helps to pay for my scrapbooking goodies ;-) I cherish the numerous resources dedicated to helping me continuously learn in this industry, and am always Pattie's Blog
My name is Jill Sarginson and I live in Kanata with my husband Dean and daughter Abigail. I have been scrapbooking for almost 3 years now and it's developed into a major passion. I absolutely love to preserve the memories of our family through my layouts. Scrapbooking is definitely my favourite hobby and I scrapbook traditionally and digitally as well along with making some cards and doing the odd altered item. My style ranges from layout to layout but I definitely love to distress and ink it up! My favourite companies include October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket, Bella Blvd and Pink Paislee. I have been lucky enough to have been published several times including Canadian Scrapbooker, Scrapbook and Cards today as well as a Memory Makers idea book coming out in spring 2011. I have also been featured on the Bo Bunny blog and Facebook page as well as the Scrapbook and Cards today blog. Besides scrapbooking, I love spending time with my family and doing anything active. I love to play soccer, work out, cycle, and run. I am very happy to renew my position on Tina's DT. I look forward to meeting lots of new people and creating some new projects! Jill's Blog |
My name is Amy Morris, I have truly been blessed with a loving husband and stepdaughter! I am a Child and Youth Pastor as well as Nursery School teacher. These things give me lots of opportunity for great pictures and inspiration!!MY wonderful husband indulges my scrap booking addiction! Thank goodness, I couldn’t imagine not scrap booking. I started scrap booking 8 years ago when I was introduced to scrap booking and began recording and preserving the memories of my wedding and started my first scrapbook, and fell in love! My style and skill is varied, and has progressed over the years. I love to try new products and always strive to new levels and to try new things. I love keeping up to date on new trends and love the challenges of trying to incorporate new things in new ways and challenge myself to be creative and leave my mark on every page and project I do! I love getting inspiration from my friends, family and nature and like to give inspiration and ideas to others with the creative layouts and mini albums I create. Cards, page layouts, mirrors, collages for the walls, canvases and mini albums are all things I like to experiment with and create. There isn’t a scrap booking project I won’t take on, I am always up for the adventure! Happy Scrap booking!
A little about myself, I am married to my husband, Eric for 13 years now we have four children and live/work on our dairy farm. I love to be with the animals, being outdoors and I love to travel (although the trips usually are not extravagant) . These all give me lots of photos to scrap. I live just outside of Winchester and am only about 3 km away from where I grew up. I have a lot of family and am blessed that so many of them live close by. I am very glad to continue to be part of Tina's Design Team and am so happy to be able to share my projects and pages. I love to learn new techniques, stay up to date on the latest scrapbook trends and paper. Most of my inspiration comes from paper, other scrapbookers work and sketches. Paper is probably my favourite tool to use sometimes there is just the right paper for that picture you really want to showcase. I love to be able to adapt and grow from what I see from other scrapbookers and hope they have advice on how to “better” my layout. Recently I have started to draw my own sketches which I love to draw. I tend to work on my projects during the day when my kids are at school, creating is a great stress reliever for me. I don't think a week will go by without me playing with a layout. I tend to do a lot of single page projects and have done some mini albums as gifts.

Hi! My name is Linda Gunther and I am so excited to join this wonderful design team! I live in Ottawa and have been married to my husband Ian for 12 years now. He is very supportive of my scrapbooking addiction. We have 2 wonderful kids, Sean & Brielle and a house FULL of pets! They are all subjects for my scrapping. I have a home daycare which keeps my days busy, but once my kids go to bed at night it's "my time". I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago when my step-sister showed me one of her scrapbooking albums and I was hooked! I am well and truly addicted and make time to scrap just about every day. I'm pretty hooked on shopping too...I'm not sure if I spend more time shopping for scrappy stuff or actually scrapping! There are always so many fun new products to try! I love doing 12x12 layouts, minibooks and altering, and in the last year or so I have gotten hooked on cardmaking too. I look forward to lots of new creations as part of Tina's team! Linda's Blog

Hi There! My Name Is Jennifer Day, but you can call me Jen. I have two beautiful children, both boys, who are by far my greatest creations. I have been with my partner for fourteen years and he has the ability to make me laugh like no other person on the face of this earth. I was born and raised in Ottawa; however I lived on Canada’s west coast for the majority of my childhood. One day I would love to live on either of Canada’s coastlines as the smell of the ocean makes my heart happy. I caught the scrapping bug 6 years ago after several failed attempts to find the perfect photo albums for all of my cherished pictures. Originally I scrapbooked myself and my family as a way to preserve and pass on family history. I don’t know a lot about some of my family’s history and I knew that I wanted to have something to document mine in case my grand-kids ever wanted to know more about me and my family. I would describe my style as evolving. Sometimes clean and linear with random tidbits of scrappy goodness thrown in for good measure, and other times elaborate. I am always changing it up and experimenting with new tricks or techniques. I am a chronological scrapper that likes to remember the everyday moments with my family. I find tons of inspiration on the Internet, with my latest source of inspiration being Pinterest . My first publication request was for the summer 2010 Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. Since then I have had the privilege of having 5 layouts published in Memory Makers Big Book of Ideas that was released this past spring, as well as one layout in the Spring 2011 issue of Canadian Scrapbooker and will have one layout featured in their Winter 2011 issue. I have been participating in Scrapbook and Cards Today Project 12 since 2011 and was thrilled to see my April and November 2010 layouts, as well as my April and June 2011 Layouts featured on their Blog. I was also a featured on January 25, 2010 on scrapbooking.craftgossip.com. With every publication I feel humbled and grateful, but more importantly I feel happy that I was able to preserve a memory that was important to me and my family. I am an avid blogger and I use my posts often on my layouts as journaling. It is a great way to remember everyday moments like a funny thing your child said or did, that may otherwise be forgotten. "Mama never said there would be days like this. Drop by any time!
I am a singer/artist trapped in a veterinarian's body. I like my job but I have loved to create art with stamps, paint, pencils, chalk, and found bits ever since I was a small child and painted my first picture of a horse and cowboy on plywood for my Dad. I've always loved music and have played piano for years but recently started singing and playing guitar in public and like to write music and songs, especially when those lyrics and melodies just pop into my head. I live with my boyfriend, Donnie, and two cats, Bandit and Mako, in North Augusta, Ontario and can't wait until I get my studio finished - and neither can Donnie - because that will make creating art every day soooo much easier. **Note Lori will is also my first official studio teacher. Soon she will be teaching advanced Copic class in the studio. Lori's Blog

I am pleased to introduce Monty Peter Wesley who will be teaching some Photography courses here in the studio. I have been an avid photographer for a near two decades. In the early 90's, I took dozens of courses in black and white photography, darkroom practices, design, media/print, and colour theory. This rather introductory "taste" of art via photography developed into an on-going appetite to create -- I subsequently enrolled in Sheridan College's Commercial Photography program where I could nurture and hone my love for the creative arts ... specifically photography. In 1996, I graduated from the Commercial Photography program as one of Sheridan College's Award Winning Photographers. Since that time, I have had the pleasure of working with several other fantastic Photographers, and over the years have had countless opportunities to work on a multitude of creative and inspirational assignments. I now endeavour to bring my creative skills to a more personal and intimate level for all to enjoy! Monty Peter's Web site. |
I am a full time banker by day, and an avid paper crafter by night (and any other spare moment) A married mother of two very active toddlers - one girl one boy who are the source of most of my inspiration. I live in a small village about half an hour east of Winchester, ON. I started scrapbooking in 2006 on a suggestion from a friend who owned a scrapbooking store "come on, I think you will like it!" and as the old adage goes, the rest is history. It started on the dining room table and quickly was given it's own room in the basement. I like to call my creative zone my Scrapping Corner - this is how my blog was named. My blog is an outlet for my creative works to be showcased, as well as product reviews and tutorials. I have been published in Canadian Scrapbooker Summer 2011 with a double page layout called "Avonmore Berry Farm" My scrapbook style has evolved in the last few years, and currently tends to be mostly vintage, shabby chic, and very layered. I love my sewing machine and my distress inks. You will tend to see both machine stitching and distressing on most of my layouts and projects. My favourite scrapbook companies are Bo Bunny, Basic Grey, Prima, and Tim Holtz. My favourite colour is pink, and I tend to make most of my floral embellishments - I'm not afraid to put a flower on my boy's layouts! Lorena's Blog
Hi! My name is Nathalie Noreau-McLeod, and I am excited to join Tina’s Design Team! I am originally from Quebec City, and I moved to Ottawa in 1992 when I had my first job offer from the Federal Government as an economist. I have two beautiful children - a boy and a girl - a very supportive husband, and 3 loving dogs who keep me company in my scraproom during my creative times! Creativity always held a very important space in my life. During my school years, all my books, agendas and notebooks were populated with colourful drawings, paper clips and post-its. I didn’t know that, underlying these graffiti’s, a real passion for creation was just waiting to burst and transform me into the avid scrapbooker I am now! I started making cards using stamps in 2005 and made my first scrapbooking album after I got married in 2007. I truly enjoy dedicating at least a few minutes (if not hours!) to crafting each day. I like to try new techniques and experiment with different mediums - inks, stains, grunge board, crackled paint, glimmer mist/glam/glaze, you name it! My preferred style is vintage, with a sophisticated look; I also get grungy from time to time! New techniques excite me and I sometimes attend scrapbooking classes to stay current. For inspiration, I also read magazines, blogs, exchange tips and tricks with my scrapbooking ''Divas''! Inspiration is everywhere and can be found around each corner - even in my kids' crafts sometimes! To me, scrapbooking is a great channel to let go of the daily stresses we are all facing. Some people go for a run or a workout - I scrap! I am a crafter and I am not afraid of getting my hands dirty. That being said, I am also a perfectionist and I don’t let go of a project until I reach what I had in mind. Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy spending time with my family and practicing yoga. Also, with my 3 dogs, I always have a willing companion to go for a nice walk at night! I am truly looking forward to working on some great creative projects at Tina’s! Nathalie's Blog
Hello, my name is Samantha and I am very excited to be joining this years design team. I live in Ottawa and I am married to my high school sweetheart Mike. We have three wonderful children Drake 14, Cassidy 12, and Quintin 6. My family are heart and soul and the main focus of my scrapbook pages. I started scrapbooking just over six years ago as a creative outlet and a way to preserve our family's precious memories. It very quickly became an obsession and consumed most of my thoughts. Like everyone else my style has grown and evolved over the years through constant product changes and trends, searching the web, books, and magazines, and of course playing and experimenting with new products and papers. My pages can be anything from simple to what I like to describe as fussy. I enjoy making mini albums the most probably because they bring a sense of accomplishment faster. I scrapbook 12x12 pages and I also love to make cards and altered items. I can not wait to start creating! Samantha's Blog
I’ve been scrapbooking all my life in one form or another but was only introduced to “industry scrapbooking” when we moved to the area in 2005. I love to work with my hands and to create works of art in food, fabric and paper. I love photography and believe that a good photograph can tell a great story and is the beginning of a great page. I am addicted to preserving memories and building a heritage that will last for generations to come. I have been married to my best friend since 1983, we have three children who are all grown and gone from home. Our two sons are married and my favourite topics to scrapbook have to be my two adorable grandchildren. In early 2011, my husband and I adopted an energetic little dog who also appears on many of my current layouts. Other than him, I am an empty nester :) My style is constantly evolving but to me the story is key. I’m a story-teller at heart. I have no desire to be famous to anyone but my family. I am thrilled to be working with the talented team here at Tina’s! Kelly's Blog
Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie. I live in small town Ontario with my husband and two teenagers, one in the last year of high school and the other in second year of university. We have a dog and two cats (I wanted to be a vet when I grew up). I have a part time photography business as well. I have been a crafter since I was a small child – dabbling in sewing, quilting, embroidery, paper crafts, knitting, photography, drawing, painting and just about any other craft you can think of. The one that I had a passion for was and still is photography. I take 1000’s of photos a year of everything from my family to the backyard weeds. Before digital, they sat in albums or (GASP!) shoeboxes. Then a friend introduced me to scrapbooking. Now I had a way to display all those photos that I took over the years. I was in love! I am a paper addict (much the way my mother was a fabric addict), I buy it because I like it. I may not have any idea what I’ll use it on, but it goes in my stash for a later date. My style tends to simple – I want my photos to be the first thing you look at on my layouts. BUT I can bling it up and embellish with the best of them. Scrapbooking is relaxing to me – it’s a creative outlet for me. Stephanie's Blog
